at the university of western Ontario. She then completed a post-graduate-certificate
as a multimedia specialist in graphic design. Her next pursuits took her into the realm
of commercial art where she worked as a gallery curator, manager, and
corporate consultant. However, while immersed in the art world, Marianne felt torn
between the demands for success and the need to create art. This inner conflict led
to her return as a professional artist in early 2007.
